  • 4 pieces onions
  • 800 ml beef stock
  • 30 grams butter
  • 4 slices baguette

Method

  1. Step 1

    Caramelize onions in butter

  2. Step 2

    Add beef stock and simmer

  3. Step 3

    Top with toast and cheese

  4. Step 4

    Broil until cheese is melted

Notes

Gruyère is the classic cheese choice.
